THE SALAH WILL BE THE LIGHT IN YOUR GRAVE
SubhanAllah ... the salah will be the light in your grave my dear respected people ... one piece of advice
Whoever enters a market and says: “Laa ilaaha illAllah waHdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul Hamdu yuHyi wa yumeetu wa huwa Hayyun laa yamoot, bi yadihil khayr, wahuwa `alaa kulli shay’in Qadeer” – ‘There is nothing worthy of worship but Allah, He is alone without partner, to Him belongs dominion and praise, he causes life and death and He is the Living and does not die. In His Hand is all the good, and He is over all things competent’; Allah will write for him a million good deeds, erase a million of his bad deeds and raise him a million levels and build for him a house in Paradise. LOVE YOUR PARENTS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE
Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him and be good to your parents. Whether one or both of them reach old age with you, do not say to them a word of annoyance and do not repel them but rather speak to them a noble word. Lower to them the wing of humility for them out of mercy and say: My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was small. (QS.17:23-24)
.
We have enjoined upon man care for his parents. His mother carried him in weakness upon weakness and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents, for to Me is the final destination. (QS.31:14)
.
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: A man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, asking permission to strive in jihad. The Prophet ﷺ said:
. أَحَيٌّ وَالِدَاكَ
Are your parents alive?
He said yes. The Prophet ﷺ said:
فَفِيهِمَا فَجَاهِدْ
Then strive in their service.
Source: Sahih Bukhari 2842
It should be clear to us now how important it is to obey our parents and treat them well. Conversely, disobedience to parents is among the worst major sins in Islam.
Ya Allah, bless our parents, forgive them, have mercy upon them, and assist us in fulfilling our duties toward them. Ameen.

SAVE YOURSELF FROM HELL-FIRE
Every action of righteousness in Islam is considered as Sadaqah, which is derived from the Arabic root word, Sadq (truth). Its literal meaning is to expend from one`s possessions and abilities in the way of the Almighty Lord. Sadaqah is the necessary constituent of a believer`s faith through which it seeks Pleasure of the Creator of the world of the worlds by helping out the poor and others in a state of need.“And those who are patient, seeking the countenance of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good – those will have the good consequence of [this] home.” [Quran, 13: 22]Narrated by Abu Musa (R.A) that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: “Every Muslim has to give in sadaqah (charity).” The people asked, “O Allah’s Messenger (PBUH)! If someone has nothing to give, what will he do?” He (PBUH) said, “He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns).” The people further asked, “If he cannot do even that?” He (PBUH) replied, “Then he should help the needy who appeal for help.” Then the people asked, “If he cannot do that?” He (PBUH) replied, “Then he should perform all that is good and keep away from all that is evil and this will be regarded as charitable deeds.” (Bukhari)
This Saying of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ clarifies that every act of decency is Sadaqah. Therefore, not a single deed that benefits a person one or another according to Islamic beliefs should be considered unimportant because it eventually leads towards adopting a righteous life.
Abu Dharr reported Rasulullah ﷺ saying as: “In the morning charity is due from every bone in the body of every one of you. Every utterance of Allah’s glorification is an act of charity. Every utterance of praise of Him is an act of charity; every utterance of profession of His Oneness is an act of charity; every utterance of profession of His Greatness is an act of charity; enjoining good is an act of charity; forbidding what is disreputable is an act of charity; and two rak‘ahs which one prays in the forenoon will suffice.” (Muslim 1557)

THE LIFE OF THE WORLD IS NOTHING
The life of the world is nothing but a game and a diversion. The abode of the hereafter—that is truly Life if they only knew. (Surat al-'Ankabut: 64)
Never forget that everything on the face of the earth is created for a purpose. It is a most definite fact that everything you see around you serves a special purpose. There is also a purpose for which you and the rest of humanity exists:
He Who created death and life to test which of you is best in action. He is the Almighty, the Ever-Forgiving. (Surat al-Mulk: 2)
As the verse above explains, Allah placed man temporarily in this world to test him. He tests us with what we experience in life; He creates this life in order that believers may be distinguished from the non-believers, and by which they may be purified of evil, and worthy of the reward of Paradise. In other words, the world is merely a testing-ground where we can earn the good pleasure of Allah.
Allah has made clear the limits to observe, and the behaviour by which He is pleased or displeased. Accordingly, a person's temperament in this world determines his rewards or punishment in the hereafter. Therefore, every single passing moment brings us closer to either Paradise or Hell.As such, never forget that you are being tested, even right at this moment, and that the result of this test will determine your afterlife. Also, never forget that this result is very near. Allah reminds us of this fact in several verses and warns His servants against that day:
You who believe! Heed Allah and let each self look to what it has sent forward for Tomorrow. Heed Allah. Allah is aware of what you do. (Surat al-Hashr: 18)
Allah warns people against not being greedily attached to the temporary and alluring joys of this world. That is because, neither wealth, beauty nor social status, that is, nothing a man possesses in this world, will be of help to him in the hereafter. He will leave behind everything he had, including his body. His body will decay in the earth; the possessions of which he had been so proud will be unable to resist the irrepressible damage of time. All alone, he will be brought to the presence of his Lord to give an account of his deeds.

I WAS RECRUITED TO DESTROY MUSLIM, I BECAME MUSLIM
Shariffa A Carlo shares her intriguing journey towards Islam:
The story of how I reverted to al Islam is a story of plans. I made plans, the group I was with made plans, and Allah made plans. And Allah is the Best of Planners.
When I was a teenager, I came to the attention of a group of people with a very sinister agenda. They were and probably still are a loose association of individuals who work in government positions but have a special agenda: to destroy Islam.
It is not a governmental group that I am aware of, they simply use their positions in the US government to advance their cause. One member of this group approached me because he saw that I was articulate, motivated and very much the women's rights advocate.
He told me that if I studied International Relations with an emphasis in the Middle East, he would guarantee me a job at the American Embassy in Egypt. He wanted me to eventually go there to use my position in the country to talk to Muslim women and encourage the fledgling women's rights movement.
I thought this was a great idea. I had seen the Muslim women on TV; I knew they were a poor oppressed group, and I wanted to lead them to the light of 20th century freedom. With this intention, I went to college and began my education.
I studied Quraan, hadith and Islamic history. I also studied the ways I could use this information. I learned how to twist the words to say what I wanted them to say. It was a valuable tool. Once I started learning, however, I began to be intrigued by the message of Islam. It made sense. That was very scary. Therefore, in order to counteract this effect, I began to take classes in Christianity.

VERILY YOUR LORD IS GENEROUS AND SHY
“Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty” -(Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi)
SubhanAllah, we often forget how humbling the experience of making dua truly is. We forget the honor and ability of asking for anything we wish for. We forget how precious this time is and even when we do make dua, we often forget to remember others. Unconsciously we become so caught up with ourselves, that we forget to ask Allah (swt) the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, for blessing and rewarding others in both this life and the next. Yet, our beloved Messenger of Allah (S) has taught us: “The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence will certainly be answered. Every time he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel appointed for this particular task says: “Ameen! May it be for you too,” [Muslim, 1494]. Prophet Muhammad (S) spent endless nights in sujud weeping whilst making dua for others. He prayed for us--his Ummah--before praying for himself. If we take a moment to reflect on Rasulullah (S) experience at Ta'if, we will be in awe. When he peacefully went to preach in the city of Ta'if, he was met with humiliation and excruciating pain. He was forced out of the city and left crying and soaking in blood. He fainted soon after and upon waking up, he immediately began making dua for the people of Ta'if. He prayed to Allah (swt) to bless them with Hidayah (guidance), without a hint of anger or hatred.
SubhanAllah, even if the littlest thing upsets us about someone we would not dare make dua for them. This is what we must change, and insha'Allah this week we will. Anytime we make dua, lets try to make sure we make at least one dua for someone other than ourselves--regardless of how that relationship may be.
May Allah (swt) strengthen our Ummah and bless us with selflessness as grand as that of our beloved Prophet (SAW), Ameen.

DAUGHTER OF ITALIAN PARLIAMENTARIAN CONVERTS TO ISLAM
Italians are in shock after the daughter of a parliamentarian announced her conversion to Islam and changed her name to Aysha. Manuela Franco Barbato is a 22 years old student at the Università L'orientale de Napoli. She is the daughter of Franco Barbato, a former parliamentarian representing the 'Italy of Values' party.
Her dad told a newspaper "This conversion is not just bad, but terrible because this religion is too harsh, too radical, too rigid. It is a fundamentalist religion. I am seeing this firsthand, my daughter lives with me. I see it every day. At the time of prayer, she does not even take care of the children and I get angry about it. If a baby cries, it means that he needs something, he needs his mom. I feel a lot of pain for this choice she has made for her life".
She wrote on facebook "The veil is what Allah has chosen for me, I am proud of the purity of my soul. This is the law of God, who am I to oppose it?". Her comments were met with a lot of hostility on social media as most Italians have generally negative views about Islam and Muslims.

WHEN YOU STAND UP TO PRAY, PRAY AS IF IT IS YOUR LAST PRAYER
You often hear the khatheeb or imam, right before the salah starts, saying “pray as if this is your last prayer.” Sure, but what does it mean, and how do we do it?
As one of the righteous people of the past said:
Pray as if Jannah is on your right side, Hellfire is on your left side, the siraat (bridge over Hellfire) is under you, the angel of death is behind you (waiting to take your soul any minute), your sins are above you (waiting to crush and destroy you), and this is the last deed, the one that decides if you go to Jannah or Jahannam forever.
Imagine that these are the last few moments of your life, of your last salah. Imagine the green, lush gardens on your right. Imagine the heat, the smoke, on your left. Imagine a bridge under you, thinner than a hair and sharper than a sword.
Imagine the angel of death, like the head of a team, waiting behind you; waiting to take your soul at any instant.
Imagine your sins, the ones people know about and the ones they don’t, the ones you make excuses for and the ones you justify, the things you know you should do but don’t, all hovering above you like a giant black mountain, waiting to crush you from their collective weight.
This is it; this is your last chance, your last moment, your last deed, before your books are closed, your story is over. Life is upon the ending; will your ending be good, or evil?
It’s your choice, to decide right now, in these last moments as you pray your final farewell prayer to dunya.
How would you pray in those moments? Nobody knows when they will be; they may very well be right now.
That is the feeling you want to capture in your heart and mind as you pray. Everything else in this life will fade away compared to that.
Try it. You will feel the difference for yourself. The Prophet said, “When you stand for your prayer, then pray as if you are saying farewell. Do not say anything for which you must apologize, and abandon any desire to acquire what other people have.”

GUIDANCE IS IN THE HAND OF ALLAH
Guidance is in the hand of Allah. If Allah willed, He could guide all of mankind, for there is nothing that He cannot do on this earth or in the heavens. Nothing happens in His Dominion except that which He wills. “Say: ‘With Allah is the perfect proof and argument, (i.e. the Oneness of Allah, the sending of His Messengers and His Holy Books, to mankind); had He so willed, He would indeed have guided you all.’” The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has no part in guidance; all that he and the Muslims have to do is to explain and convey the message, and show them guidance but they cannot force people to follow it, as Allah said to His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (interpretation of the meaning): “And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you (O Muhammad) then compel mankind, until they become believers?” [Yoonus 10:99]
And Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And the duty of the Messenger is only to convey (the Message) plainly.” [al-‘Ankaboot 29:18]
Guidance to the truth is in the hand of Allah alone and no human being has any share in that, as Allah said to His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (interpretation of the meaning): “Verily, you (O Muhammad) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He knows best those who are the guided.” [al-Qasas 28:56]
Allah guides whomsoever He wills and sends astray whomsoever He wills. He has told us that He guides those who obey Him and turn to Him, as He says (interpretation of the meaning): “While as for those who accept guidance, He increases their guidance and bestows on them their piety.” [Muhammad 47:17]

THE NIGHT OF DECREE
﷽ • 🌙🌸⚖️
━
Al-Qadr, and it is a blessed night about which Allah says,
-
❝We sent it down on a blessed night.❞(44:3) This is the Night of Al-Qadr and it occurs during the month of Ramadan. This is as Allah says,
.
﴿شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِى أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ﴾
.
❝The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an.❞(2:185)
.
Ibn Abbas and others have said, "Allah sent the Qur'an down all at one time from the Preserved Tablet (Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz) to the House of Might (Baytul-`Izzah), which is in the heaven of this world. Then it came down in parts to the Messenger of Allah based upon the incidents that occurred over a period of twenty-three years.'' Then Allah magnified the status of the Night of Al-Qadr, which He chose for the revelation of the Mighty Qur'an, by His saying,
.
❝And what will make you know what the Night of Al-Qadr is The Night of Al-Qadr is better than a thousand months.❞(97:2-3)
.
It is confirmed in the Two Sahihs from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah said,Whoever stands (in prayer) during the Night of Al-Qadr with faith and expecting reward (from Allah), he will be forgiven for his previous sins.)
.
Supplication during the Night of Decree
.
It is recommended to supplicate often during all times, especially during the month of Ramadan, in the last ten nights, and during the odd nights of it even more so. It is recommended that one say the following supplication a lot: "O Allah! Verily, You are the Of the Pardoning, You love to pardon, so pardon me.'' This is due to what Imam Ahmad recorded from A'ishah, that she said, "O Messenger of Allah! If I find the Night of Al-Qadr what should I say'' He replied,
.
«قُولِي: اللْهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي»
.
(Say: "O Allah! Verily, You are the Of the Pardoning, You love to pardon, so pardon me.'') At-Tirmidhi, An-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah have all recorded this Hadith. At-Tirmidhi said, "This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.'' Al-Hakim recorded it in his Mustadrak (with a different chain of narration) and he said that it is authentic according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). An-Nasa'i also record it

TAHAJJUD PRAYER
These nights are very precious. Any one can the night of power .. equivalent to 1000 months. .. Dont miss your tahajjud salaah.. after tharaweh prayers untill fajr you have a chance to pray tahajjud and get close to Allah !! You can pray 2, 4, 6, or 8 ... but dont be deprived from this noble prayer !!! Abu Hurayra (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and companions) said, “The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer.” [Muslim]
Abu Hurayra (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and companions) was asked, “What prayer is most virtuous, after the obligatory prayers?” He said, “Prayer in the depths of the night.” [Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i, Ibn Majah]
Abd Allah ibn Salam (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and companions) said, “O people! Spread the salams, feed others, maintain family ties, and pray at night when others sleep and you will enter Heaven safely.” [Tirmidhi, Hakim]
Abu Umama al-Bahili (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and companions) said, “Hold fast to night prayer, for it was the way of the righteous before you, a way of drawing closer to your Lord, an expiation for wrong deeds, and a shield from sin.” [Tirmidhi, and others] In some narrations, there is an addition, “And it repels sickness from the body.

ISLAMIC GUIDANCE
Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." Inna lillaahi wa inna ilayhi Raaji'oon
Yeah, sure we say this statement when someone dies. Also some of us may say this sentence when they lose something, suffer a setback or harm. But………..do you know what it means?
Sure, everyone know that it obviously means 'To Allah we belong and to Him is our return.' But that's not what I am talking about.
I mean ….do you REALLY, TRULY understand these words and their implications in a Muslim's life?
It means …whatever we have is not really ours. It belongs to Allah
Take a look around you; everything you see, all that you have and all that there is….in you, on you, around you….belongs to Allah, alone.
It is Allah Who has given you all the property and goods you possess, and that He is the true Owner of them all.
So the cars that you own, the houses that you live in, the businesses you possess all truly belong to Allah
The kids that He blessed you with, the health that He gave you, the time that He has allowed you are all Allah's property.
Even the bodies we live in and the life that we have belongs to Allah alone. "And to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth…." (Surah Aal-Imraan:180) "The kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything in them belongs to Allah. He has power over all things." ( Surat al-Ma' ida: 120) 'Say: 'To Allah belongs the East and the West…' (Surah al-Baqarah:142)
Now, since everything belongs to Allah, then we have to include even our souls in that list.
The very souls that we think of as our "self", our "nafs", our "being" -- whatever you want to call it -- that very thing that distinguishes you from the rest of the world, belongs to Allah It's not YOURS.
In fact, YOU are not YOURS. You belong to Allah
And this is the essence of the concept of slavery to Allah in Islam.
And since He is the true Possessor of everything, and everything is His property, He gives what He wills to whomever He wills…And then He takes it away. After all, it was Allah's to begin with.
So He may give you some thing and then take it back after a while..

JUMU'AH REMINDER
-
Surah al Kahf is the 18th Surah of the Quran and tells the story of the believers in ancient time who when received the message of Truth accepted it. However, they were to face retaliation from the society they lived in and hence they fled from the city and found protection in a cave where Allah Almighty gave them sleep that lasted for centuries. By the time they woke up their whole city had converted into believers. This Surah gives the message that those who believe in Allah and ask for protection from Him, He gives them the best protection the likes of which the world has never seen.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “One who memorized the first ten verses of Surah al Kahf will be secure against the Dajjal (Anti-Christ).” (Muslim)
Remember it's Friday, so don't forget to read surah al kahf.

DUA FOR LAILAT ALQAR
Tonight is the 21st night of Ramadan InshaAllah. The start of the last ten nights of Ramadan. Laylatul qadr can be any one of these nights, and any good deed done on laylatul qadr is better than if you did that deed for 36 Years!!! And every reward is multiplied by 70 because it is Ramadan .
Alhamdulillah the mercy of Allah that he put laylatul qadr in Ramadan where the shaytans is locked up and rewards are multiplied by 70
We do not know if we will make it to the next Ramadan, do not miss out on this blessing from the most merciful of the merciful.
1. Give a small amount in charity every night for the next 10 nights even if it is £1 or less £1 a day x 365 x 36 = £ 919,800
Do you not want the reward of giving over 900,000 pound
2.Read this dua as much as possible
Aisha (Ra) said: “I asked the Messenger of Allah: 'O Messenger of Allah, if I know what night is the night of Qadr, what should I say during it?' He said: 'Say: O Allah, You are pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.' “ "Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'annee" (Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Tirmidhi). Think of how many sins Allah will forgive you for when you read this just once...
3. Pray Taraweeh every night... Try read with the imam until he finishes to get the reward of praying for the entire night for 30,000 nights x 70 = 2,100,000
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “Whoever prays with the imam until he finishes, Allaah will record for him as if he spent the whole night in prayer” were narrated by al-Tirmidhi (806)
4. Read Quran, Ramadan is the month of Quran, the month Quran first was revealed
Each letter of the Qur’an gives 10 rewards outside Ramadan, 700 in Ramadan and 21 million on laylatul Qadr !!!! Do not be discouraged if you can not read Quran well because your reward will double... 42million per letter subhanAllah “...Moreover, whoever recites the Quran and stutters with it, and it is difficult for him, will have a double reward.” [Reported by Muslim 798].
5 . Make plenty of dua and zihkr, all of it will be multiplied by 1000 months...
